I Don’t Need to Hear This Again!
I know, you’re probably saying that volumes have already been written on the power of setting goals and you don’t want to hear it again. This is true. Including a couple of articles by Your’s Truly. But I thought it was necessary to repeat some important points regarding this subject. You see, I occasionally have to remind myself to follow my own advice. I occasionally have to get back in line. As a goal-setter, it becomes obvious when this happens. Things don’t go as smoothly, as quickly, or as completely as I had planned. Sometimes, I need to hear it again.

Back to the Basics
The powers of the mind and the powers of visualization are amazing. These come into play in full force when properly setting goals and making plans to achieve them. Your goals will assist you in achieving your dreams. Without goals you have no direction. How will you ever get where you want to be if you don’t know where you’re going? Where do you want to be in a year from now, two years from now, five years?

Have you written down what you want? Write down your main goals and what you’re willing to do to reach them. Read them out loud when you get up and before you go to sleep. This is how you will access your subconscious mind to respond, and it is a fact that you are four times more likely to achieve what you have written down.If it’s not important enough for you to write down, maybe it’s not important enough for you to accomplish! Writing down a goal can make the difference between achieving your goal or not.

Use Affirmations.An affirmation is a statement of an outcome you desire, spoken in the present tense as if this outcome was already achieved.

Goal Setting and The Law of Attraction
Most of you should be familiar with the Law of Attraction and the Secret Movie. Well, proper goal setting is the Law of Attraction at work. Goal setting (and achievement) is a perfect example. You have heard the oft-repeated statement, “What you think about with faith and emotion becomes your reality.”

How does Goal Setting and the Law of Attraction relate?
* You Identify your goals and write them down (Desire)
* You read them daily (repitition)
* You affirm the outcome (belief)
* You visualize the outcome (emotion)
* Your subconscious mind intervenes
* Things happen!

New Addition to Gina’s Library

I have added a new book this month: The Path of Prosperity by James Allen. A very enjoyable and enlightening read and I invite you to download it for free. This book will not show up on YourNeedToKnow until next month as my subscribers will always be the first to download new additions. Download.pdf
I looked around upon the world and saw that it was shadowed by sorrow and scorched by the fierce fires of suffering. And I looked for the cause…and could not find it.
I looked within and found there both the cause an the self-made nature of that cause. I looked again, and deeper, and found the remedy. James Allen
SOME INSPIRATION

Giving and Receiving

I launched a smile, far out it sailed on life’s wide, troubled sea.
And many more than I could count came sailing back to me.
I clasped a hand while whispering, “The clouds will melt away.”
I felt my life was very blessed all through the hours that day.
I sent a thought of happiness where it was needed sore,
And very soon thereafter, found Joy adding to my store.
I wisely shared my slender hoard, toil-earned coins of gold;
But presently it flowed right back, increased a hundredfold.
I helped another climb a hill, a little thing to do;
And yet it brought a rich reward, a friendship that was new.
I think each morning when I rise of how I may achieve,
I know by serving I advance, by Giving I Receive.

Until next month, stay Motivated, stay Inspired, and remember “It’s never too late to be who you might have been.”
